Dioctyltin Neodecanoate

Special Catalyst With Lower Activity

Dioctyltin neodecanoate is an organic tin chemical compound and is also called DOTND as an abbreviation. Liquid at room temperature, it is weakly colored and has a specific smell.

As a special catalyst with reduced activity, dioctyltin neodecanoate is produced specifically for the production of certain polyurethanes and silicones with very long processing times. The lower curing speed benefits certain applications of RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) silicone systems and of polyurethane foams and elastomers.

The dioctyltin neodecanoate catalyst is less sensitive to moisture and has a higher activation temperature than the conventional dibutyltin dilaurate.
